The purpose of the Environmental Division is to further the application of chemical engineering in the environmental field. We want this website to be the first place you look for knowledge related to chemical engineering and the environment. This helps us to further the Division’s goals to bring attention to concern for the environment in the design and operation of process plants, and to encourage chemical engineering educators to place suitable emphasis on environmental protection in their instruction.
